Caroline Bertram from our communication team at Climate Media Factory has just returned from an energising experience at the R&I for a Competitive Green Transition, hosted by the European Commission in Brussels, a satellite event of the EU R&I Days 2025.

We were honoured to have RethinkAction selected as one of only 15 projects showcased in the project exhibition, representing tangible solutions for Europe’s green transition. It was the perfect first occasion to present the RethinkAction Integrated Assessment Platform as an innovative climate adaptation tool to EU-level policymakers. It was great to witness the enthusiasm and interest the tool received, a strong validation of its potential.

We also took the opportunity to promote our open call for replicators, a unique chance for local and regional authorities, practitioners, and technical stakeholders to bring land use-based climate solutions to their regions.

Beyond the exhibition, the event was a fantastic opportunity to connect with fellow R&I projects and learn how they are driving meaningful change. Special thanks to the teams from the Green Deal Support Office and EU-SCORES, with whom we had the pleasure to share the space, and of course, to the organisers who made this inspiring event possible.
