The RethinkAction project will be presented at the 7th European Climate Change Adaptation (ECCA) conference during the session “Cross-sectoral and multi-scale climate services – upscaling of mitigation and adaptation actions,” scheduled for Tuesday, June 17th. This session brings together several Horizon-funded Green Deal projects — RethinkAction, I-CISK, LOCALISED, and ReachOut — to showcase key scientific outputs, including innovative climate services, decision-support tools, and platforms designed to enhance climate adaptation and mitigation strategies.

ECCA offers a valuable opportunity to raise RethinkAction’s visibility among a diverse audience of policymakers, researchers, and practitioners from across Europe. It enables direct engagement with potential users of the RethinkAction integrated assessment platform.

The session aims not only to demonstrate practical solutions and methodologies but also to foster dialogue around existing research gaps, implementation challenges, post-project sustainability, and the broader adoption of these tools. As part of their collaboration, these projects have contributed to a joint policy brief that will be submitted to the European Commission, proposing recommendations for future actions to be incorporated into the next Multiannual Financial Framework.
