It was not easy to reach the European Urban Resilience Forum (EURESFO) 2025 in Rotterdam by train to present the RethinkAction Integrated Assessment Platform (https://lnkd.in/dWVhYK_H). First, a storm had caused problems with the railway lines. Then, the NATO summit taking place at the same time in The Hague caused further restrictions.
On the other hand, this already introduced two of the many topics that were discussed in numerous panels and sessions at this great event organised by ICLEI Europe, European Environment Agency and Gemeente Rotterdam:
How can we make our infrastructures resilient to extreme weather events? And how can resilience continue to be prioritised despite the many other topics that are currently affecting the world?
A perfect environment and a perfect audience for Selene Angelone from ICLEI Europe to pitch the platform and for Ephraim Broschkowski from the Climate Media Factory to present the platform on the marketplace at a joint stand with the amazing colleagues from the sister project LOCALISED.
Amidst exciting sessions and conversations, our innovative climate adaptation tool generated a lot of interest, which led to further early replicators.
What we learnt: In the end, the same was true for the journey to Rotterdam for EURESFO25 as for the path to resilience: even if the journey is sometimes arduous and almost always complex: it’s worth it!
The RethinkAction platform is here to help guide the way. Become an early replicator: https://lnkd.in/duAUMXYX
